Our company
Our Company
Tibet Skyline International Travel Service, Inc. is the licensed Lhasa company behind this website — our own guides, our own vehicles and our own permit team. We have been running Tibet tours since 1999.
How we work
Six things decide whether a Tibet trip runs smoothly. These are ours.
Local expertise
Born and based in Lhasa, our team carries generations of deep Tibetan knowledge — from high mountain passes to monastery rituals.
Permits handled
We manage the full permit paperwork — Tibet Travel Permit, Alien’s Travel Permit and Military Zone Permits — so you can focus on the journey.
Custom itineraries
No two travellers are the same. Every tour is crafted around your travel dates, budget, fitness level and personal interests.
Private transport
All tours use private, well-maintained 4WD Land Cruisers with experienced drivers who know Tibet’s roads in every season.
One team, start to finish
From your first inquiry to your final departure you deal with the same team — in Lhasa and back home. We answer every inquiry within 12 hours, Monday to Saturday, and on the road your guide is with you throughout.
Responsible travel
We are committed to supporting local communities, protecting the plateau environment and preserving Tibetan cultural heritage.
Why travellers choose us
The other half of the story — our licence, no-deposit booking, free cancellation, refunds and how we price — is set out in plain language on our Why Us page. Our story, numbers and accreditations are on About Us.
The company behind your trip
Four short pages on the paperwork, the people and the vehicles — so you know exactly who you are dealing with before you book.

Payment guide
How to pay for your Tibet tour — bank wire transfer, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay.

Terms & conditions
No deposit required, and you can cancel free of charge before your Tibet Travel Permit is issued.

Our guide team
Our own certified bilingual Tibetan guides — deep knowledge of the culture, the history and the remote roads.

Our vehicle fleet
Our own fleet, from 5-seat Toyota Land Cruisers to 35-seat coaches — all within two to three years old.
