Two weeks or a little more lets you join the great journeys together: Mount Kailash, Everest and the Guge Kingdom in one trip, or Kailash with the wild northern plateau and its wildlife. It is also the length for Tibet combined with Nepal and Bhutan.
Walkers can trek into the Gama valley below the east face of Everest, one of the most beautiful and least visited valleys in the Himalaya. Cyclists can ride from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp.
A typical 15-day route
- Days 1–3 — Lhasa
- Days 4–6 — Gyantse, Shigatse, Everest Base Camp
- Days 7–9 — West to Lake Manasarovar
- Days 10–12 — The Kailash kora
- Days 13–15 — Return and departure
Who it suits
Travellers who have two weeks and want the great sights of Tibet in one journey, or who want to add Nepal and Bhutan. It also suits experienced trekkers and cyclists who want a real expedition with full support behind them.
Good to know
These trips spend many nights above 4,500 m. We plan the route so that you go up slowly and arrange all permits. Best months are May to September.
