Tibet Vehicle Service
Our fleet ranges from 5-seat Toyota Land Cruisers to 35-seat coaches — all within 2–3 years old.
5 Seats Land Cruiser (Toyota)
The best vehicle for Tibet’s roads. Ideal for two travellers; three is the maximum with a guide on board, and it costs more than a minivan.
5 Seats Prado (Toyota)
A comfortable and capable alternative to the Land Cruiser. Well-suited for couples and small groups on all Tibet routes including remote overland itineraries.
7 Seats Minivan (Buick)
A comfortable minivan for two to four travellers. We always leave seats free for your luggage.
7 Seats Minivan (Beijing-Hyundai)
A good choice for small families. Most of Tibet’s main roads are now paved and in good condition.
8–9 Seats Minivan (Beijing-Hyundai)
For groups of four to six, with space left free for bags.
14–15 Seats Mini Van (Ford Transit)
For medium groups. We keep the back seats free for luggage and camera gear.
15 Seats Van (Jiulong)
A reliable minibus with good luggage space, for medium-sized groups.
17 Seats Van (Benz)
A smooth, comfortable van for larger groups on the main highways.
19 Seats Van (Toyota Coaster)
A sturdy small coach, popular for larger groups. Seats are always left free for luggage.
20 Seats Coach (Beijing-Hyundai County)
For large groups. Under Tibet Tourism Bureau rules, one vehicle may carry no more than 16 travellers, so the extra seats stay free for luggage.
35 Seats Coach (Jinlong)
Used for city transfers and large groups. Tibet Tourism Bureau rules still limit each vehicle to 16 travellers.

What vehicles do you use?
Our fleet covers everything from 5-seat Toyota Land Cruisers and Prados, through 7- to 9-seat minivans, up to 15- to 20-seat vans and coaches. The vehicle is matched to your group size and route.
Are the vehicles new and safe?
Yes — all vehicles are within 2 to 3 years old, fully maintained, and driven by experienced licensed local drivers.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. The vehicles are chosen to be luggage-friendly for the group size, so your bags travel with you comfortably.
