What is the best time to travel to Tibet
Tibet is a vast land with a lot of tour resources and quite different climate from the east to the west.
Therefore, it is hard to generally speaking what is the best time to go unless the trip to Tibet is divided
into a few parts as follows:
1. It is all year round that you can visit Central Tibet including Lhasa, Gyangtse, Shigatse, Tsedang,
Nyingchi, and the best time to go is the May, June, first half of July, second half of September,
October. However, we suggest that you travel to Tibet during the low season from November,
December, January, Februrary, and March, because there is less people and not crowded, and it is cheap. The most important     thing is that you can get more sunshine. Of course you can visit these mentioned places in August, but it is the highest     season.
2. If you want to see the nomads, the best time is from May through to end of September. However, if you want to see the snow     while in Christmas, you can go in late October, November, and December.
3. If you want to take a trekking tour, it is highly suggested that you go there from May to end of October, except for the Ngari Area     where the trekking is available from May through till the end of September.
4. And also, if you want to get to Tibet overland from East to West, the best time to go is from March through to December.
