Day by day itinerary
Take train to Lhasa from Beijing
O/N: on the train
In the evening take the train to leave for Lhasa (T28 9.30pm/8.58pm the 3rd day). No tour service required on the train.

D01 Arrive in Lhasa at 8.58pm and transfer to the hotel
Accommodation: Snowland Hotel 2* or similar class if late booking
Arrive at the train station, be greeted and offered a white scarf (called Kada) in a Tibet traditional way which brings you good luck. Then drive to the city proper (3650 m) and transfer to your hotel. Stay at the hotel for adapting to the high attitude. It is helpful to take things easy for the first few days, and try to drink some water just and now (be noted the first day’s acclimation is extremely to ensure you a good health status for the following tour, so please make sure you have yourself lie in bed for all the rest time of the day right after check-in of hotel).

D02 Lhasa Sightseeing [B]
Accommodation: Snowland Hotel 2* or similar class if late booking
Visit Potala Palace for the whole morning, then in the afternoon, have a view of the Jokang Monastery, then walk on the Barkhor street surrounding Jokhang, a big free market with its prolific stalls selling local specialties.
D03 Lhasa Sightseeing [B]
Accommodation: Snowland Hotel 2* or similar class if late booking
Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after lunch, visit Sera monastery. We can do the Sera Kora walk of about 1 hr and then catch the famous debate session of the monks before returning back to Lhasa.

D04 Lhasa/Gyantse [B]
Accommodation: Gyantse Jiangzang Hotel 2* or similar class if late booking
Drive to Gyantse, the famous historical city in Tibet, along the Kyichu River. On the Ganba La (4,796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake of Yamdrok Yumtso (4441 m). Upon arrival, have a tour to Pelkor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa.
D05 Drive to Shalu monastery, and start the trekking to Upper Lungsang 5.5-6 hrs

D06 Trek from Upper Lungsang to Ngor monastery 3.5-4 hrs
O/N: Camp only [B+L+D]
D07 Trek from Ngor monastery to Nartang monastery, then drive to Shigatse
Accommodation: Shigatse Holyland Hotel 3* or similar class if late booking [B+L]
After finish the trekking in Nartang monastery, further drive to Shigatse, upon arrival have a tour to Tashilumpu Monastery and its free market.

D08 Shigatse/Shegar [B]
Accommodation: Shegar Everest Hotel
Morning continue driving to Shegar via Gyatsola Mountain Pass (5220m). It takes 6-7 hours to get there covering 310 km. The road is bumpy and dusty. On the way, if the time limited, make an excursion to Sakya Monastery (4.280 m). Today you can appreciate the evening scenery of Mt. Everest enough.
Everest Hotel is the best hotel in this place, but the accommodation condition in this remote area is a little bit poor.
D09 Shegar/Everest Base Camp [B]
Accommodation: Sightseeing Hotel
Rise up in the early morning to drive to Rongpuk Monastery. Then hike up to Everest BC. Rest of day own leisure time, you could take a little bit of time to explore the glacier. Overnight in the tents.
Today you could have a hiking from Rongbuk Monastery to EBC and around EBC to explore the glacier, if the weather is nice, you could try to camp there, we will provide camping facilities for you, such as tents, sleeping bags and mats, etc., if the weather is not so good, check in the only hotel near EBC—Sightseeing Hotel.

D10 EBC/Shigatse [B]
Accommodation: Shigatse Holyland Hotel 3* or similar class if late booking
In the early morning, watch the Sun rise in the Everest, good weather permitting, after enjoy the stunning view of Mt.Everest, drive back to Shigatse, today is really a long drive.
D11 Shigatse/Beijing [B]
Departure transfers for the flight out, take afternoon flight to leave for Beijing. Service ends.
