D01 Arrive in Lhasa and transfer to the hotel
Accommodation: Saikang Hotel 3* or similar class if late booking
Arrive at Lhasa, be greeted and offered a white scarf (called Kada) in a Tibet traditional way which brings you good luck. Then drive to the city proper (3650 m) and transfer to your hotel. Stay at the hotel for adapting to the high attitude. It is helpful to take things easy for the first few days, and try to drink some water just and now (be noted the first day’s acclimation is extremely to ensure you a good health status for the following tour, so please make sure you have yourself lie in bed for all the rest time of the day right after check-in of hotel).

D02 Lhasa Sightseeing [B+L]

Visit Potala Palace for the whole morning, then in the afternoon, have a view of the Jokang Monastery, then walk on the Barkhor street surrounding Jokhang, a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties.
D03 Lhasa Sightseeing [B+L]

Visit Drepung Monastery for the whole morning, later after lunch, visit Sera monastery. We can do the Sera Kora walk of about 1 hr and then catch the famous debate session of the monks before returning back to Lhasa.

D04 Lhasa/Samye Monastery/Tsedang [B+L]

Morning drive forward to Tsedang, the capital in Shannan Area, also the cradle of Tibetan culture. Please note: in this city, all the alien people must live in a hotel since it is the military restrictive area. Visit is to the magnificent Samye Monastery en route.
D05 Tsedang Sightseeing [B+L]

In the morning, make a trip in the Yarlung valley to visit the Yumbulakhang, a medieval-European castle-like structure, reputed as Tibet’s oldest building. It doesn’t take that long to explore Yumblagang, perhaps the best part of the vist is the walk up along the ridge abour the building. There’re fabulous views of the Yarlung valley. Then have a tour to Trandruk Monastery nearby.

D06 Tsedang/Gyantse [B+L]

Today have a 350 km driving to get to Gyantse, a famous historical city. on the Ganba La (4,796 m) have a fantastic view of the holy lake of Yamdrok Yumtso (4441 m).
D07 Gyantse/Shigatse [B+L]

In the morning, visit Pelkor Monastery as well as the splendid Kumbum Stupa (100-Thousand-Buddha Pagoda) nearby Gyantse. After that drive onward to Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet and also the hometown of Panchen Lama. On the way visit Shalu Monastery. Upon arrival, have a visit to the Tashilumpu Monastery , the main attraction of Shigatse city and its free market. Today 90 km drive on the paved road.

D08 Shigatse/Gonggar Airport [B+L]

In the morning transfer to airport, fly to Zhongdian in Yunnan Province, the historic southern gateway to Kham, which is also called Shangri-La. Most of the residents here are Tibetan. Upon arrival, be picked up by our guide in Yunnan side and transfer to your hotel, then walk to visit the Dabao Si Monastery, which is situated on a hill with an altitude of 3.300 m above sea level. The flying streamers around the monastery and the approx. 2 km long Mani-stone will impress you deeply.
D09 Zhongdian/Lijiang [B+L]

In the morning, drive to Lijiang. Have a tour to Tiger Jumping Gorge on the Jinsha Jiang (Golden Sand River), the upper reaches of the Yangtze River (the longest river of China, 6380 km). In the15 km long gorge, as the turbulent water of the Jinsha Jiang River is forced by Hapa Snow Mountain standing in its way to turn abruptly 100 degrees north eastwards and thus gives birth of the “First Bend of the Yangtze River”. Here the cliffs on the west bank of the river is 4000 meters above from the surface of the water, while a giant rock, just called Tiger Jumping Gorge of 300 cubic meters or so, is laying in the middle of the river to cause the waves up to the sky. Evening arrival in LiJiang and visit the Lijiang Ancient Town.

D10 Lijiang Sightseeing [B+L]

Visit the Baisha Murals and the 600-year-old Camellia Tree of 10,000 blossoms at the Yufeng Lama Temple. Then up to the Snow-capped Yulong Mountain (the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain) by cable car. You will see the 40000 year old glacier on the top of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Hiking in the mountain to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak. Enjoy the Evening Naxi Classical Musical Show performed by the famous Mr. Shuen Kor. wo is the famous devil talent Mr. Shuen Kor. After that, visit the Black Dragon Pool Park (Longshen Pavilion, Deyue pavilion and Wu Feng) with Dong Ba Cultural Museum, which is very good place to take photos of Jade Dragon Snow Moutain. Then stroll in the ancient Town of Lijiang and The Shuhe Ancient Town, Naxi Ancient Culture heritage world park.
D11 Lijiang/jianchuan/Dali [B+L]

In the morning, continue our journey to Dali. Travel by road to visit the Stone caves with ancient Nanzhou engravings in the Stone Bell Mountain Caves, about 25 miles South West of the Jianchuan city.
D12 Dali Sightseeing [B+L]

In the morning, cruise on the Erhai Lake by local fishing boat, you will find the crystal blue lake and the green mountain range nearby look alike a Chinese painting, enjoy three course tea of Bai people. Then take a look of the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas, built 1,300 years ago. And Bai people's Tie-dying cloth with wax, and their Village with the traditional architectural courtyards at Xizhou Town.You can have a leisurely stroll in Old Town Dali at evening.
