Lhasa wildlife protection station to put into use

A wildlife protection station is ready to put into use in Dagze County this year, and an epidemic monitoring station will be set up in Lhunzhub County, sources from Lhasa Wildlife Conservation Board.

In the past, many injured wild animal died from lack of treatments in time. A wildlife protection station to keep life-threatening wildlife was completed in Oct. 2008 and it will be put into use when all the medical equipments are ready this year.

Since 2008, there are no news of wild animals infected epidemics with the help of one disease monitoring station, and six disease monitoring stations to report the situation of wild animals timely and accurately in Lhasa.
